J. Burke Williamson is an Attorney at JEFFREY BURR.
Burke graduated from Southern Utah University (Magna Cum Laude) in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and initially carved out a successful career as a Senior Associate with Goldman Sachs. During his years in the investment banking world, he found himself increasingly drawn towards the intricacies of estate planning, often liaising with clients' estate planning attorneys to understand the entity structures they implemented. Realizing his profound interest in this area, Burke decided to pivot his career, aiming to experience the fulfillment that comes from guiding individuals and families in securing their financial futures.
He attended William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, graduating in December of 2021 with his Juris Doctorate. He concurrently completed his LL.M. (Master of Laws in Taxation) from Loyola Law School in December, 2021, graduating with distinction and earned the First Honors Award in Taxation of Exempt Organizations.
Burke externed for the Probate Commissioner, Wesley Yamashita in the Eighth Judicial District Court, State of Nevada and was the President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
Burke serves as a Board of Director for the KJ6 Initiative, a nonprofit organization that provides baseball equipment and opportunities to underserved youth.
